Centre for Development Policy and Practice is now accepting qualified interns for work on the following ongoing projects:
With the novel coronavirus pandemic COVID-19 taking its toll on populations and economies across the world, we attempt sectoral analyses of the impact of the disease.
With a deluge of misinformation disseminated online, we seek to analyse the patterns of misinformation and disinformation in the form of fake news and the effects it has, while innovating on solutions to combat this.
What does our young voter vote for? Do acute job losses, a slowing down of growth and reduction in consumption expenditure matter to our youth? This study is an attempt to explore voting preferences of the youth through a nationwide analysis. It will highlight electoral diversity, alliances at work, and caste and class affiliations.
We seek to understand and assess ‘who a citizen is’ in the background of National Register of Citizens and the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019. The Centre’s analysis will be disseminated in the form of publications, research papers and online articles.
We bring out a series of working papers and research articles using data visualisation and analysis tools to provide critical insights into various development challenges facing the nation with special reference to the impact it has on minorities and vulnerable groups.
Interested applicants are requested to send their CVs along with a short covering letter highlighting your area of interest and your ability to contribute. Mail us at info@cdpp.co.in
If you are keen on pursuing another area of study that falls outside the purview of the ongoing projects, but is in line with think tank’s stated objectives, please feel free to send us a proposal on the same.
As part of the internship, you will get a chance to work and interact with some leading academics and domain experts. We trust the structured learning experience provided at CDPPwill benefit you immensely.
