G Sudhir, IAS (Retd) is the Founder and Director of CDPP. He served as Special Chief Secretary in undivided Andhra Pradesh and was also Chairman of the 2015 Commission of Inquiry to study socio-economic and educational conditions of Muslims in Telangana.

Amir Ullah Khan

Amir is a Development Economist and adjunct Professor at the MCRHRDI of the Government of Telangana. He is the Research Director of CDPP. He is also a former Civil Servant from the batch of 1993. He currently teaches at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, Indian School of Business and IIFT. He has worked on various research projects for the European Commission, National Council for Applied Economic Research, Planning Commission, Confederation of Indian Industry and the World Bank. Amir has also been engaged with the Project LARGE of the UNDP on legal reforms, and with Encyclopaedia Britannica in the previous century. During this millennium, he has worked with the AEquitas Consulting, India Development Foundation, PHDCCI, Bangalore Management Academy, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Amir is Editor of the Journal of Development Policy and Practice as well. He has a degree in Electronics Engineering from Osmania University, Rural Management from IRMA, and a PhD from Jamia Millia.

Riaz Shaikh

With multi-sector, global experience in the management of technology, business, education, and research, Riaz is Senior Fellow (Collaborations) at CDPP. He is currently pursuing a PhD in HR Management while volunteering with several educational NGOs. He is also an Advisor to Challenger Civil Services Academy. He has done his BE (ECE) from Osmania University, MBA (Finance) from MS University of Baroda, and MS (Computer Information Systems) from Georgia State University in Atlanta. He started his career at the computer centre of a bank in the Middle East, and later worked as a Research Study Manager at SITA in the US. He then started his own consultancy Cubesphere, providing IT and Management Consultancy services.

Netheena Mathews is a Senior Fellow (Publications) at CDPP and Managing Editor of the Journal of Development Policy and Practice. With a keen interest in advocacy, communications and research, Netheena has worked in conservation, journalism and academic publishing. She has been previously employed by TOFTigers, Mint and The New Indian Express. She is a graduate of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and an alumna of Asian College of Journalism, Chennai.

She has been associated with organisations such as KPMG, Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative and Research Information Systems for Developing Countries, in the past. She has previously worked on diverse issues like gender rights, sustainability, foreign policy and criminal justice.

Sriram Bhupathiraju

Sriram is a Research Analyst at CDPP. He is an anthropologist with an MPhil (IIT Hyderabad), MA (University of Hyderabad) MBA, BBM and a Certificate holder in ‘International Management and Law’ from the University of The Hauge, Netherlands.

He has worked in the IT industry for over a decade before venturing back into academia. His MPhil thesis is titled “Burnout: An Ethnographic Study of Occupational Stress among Mid-Career IT Professionals in Hyderabad, India”. He was an MPhil Academic Excellence Award winner at IIT-Hyderabad and a Gold Medalist for his MA at The UoHyd
